V rámci projektu MONUMENTIS SKHU/1601/1.1/060 sa v novembri tohto roku začalo s reštaurovaním baziliky. V rámci obnovy sa vyhotovia nové okná z farebného skla, ktoré nahradia súčasné okná, ktoré sú v zlom stave a bez tepelnej izolácie; fasáda kostola bude zafarbená a vstrekne sa podstavec baziliky. A SKHU/1601/1.1/060 MONUMENTIS projekt keretében novemberben megkezdődött a Nagyboldogasszony Bazilika részleges felújítása. A munkálatok során újonnan készülnek el a – jelenleg rossz állapotban lévő, hőszigetelés nélküli – festett üvegablakok, színezésre kerül a templom homlokzata, valamint megtörténik a lábazat injektálása is. A felújítás várhatóan 2020. május végéig tart.

A SKHU/1601/1.1/060 MONUMENTIS projekt keretében novemberben megkezdődött a szécsényi ferences templom sekrestyéjének felújítása. A sekrestye bútorai elszállításra kerültek egy budapesti restaurátor műhelyébe, ahol azok javítása, tisztítása történik meg, miközben a régészek a helyszínen végzik a kiemelkedő jelentőségű műemlék vizsgálatát, a sekrestye eredeti formájának rekonstruálása érdekében.
